Installing the NoForm.ai WordPress Plugin

The NoForm.ai WordPress plugin provides a no-code solution for integrating your AI Assistant into your website. By using the plugin, you eliminate the need to manually paste a Code Snippet into your theme files, allowing you to manage your Chat Widget deployment directly from the WordPress dashboard.

Prerequisites

  • Administrator access to your WordPress website.

  • An active NoForm.ai account

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Find and Install the Plugin

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add Plugin.

  3. In the search bar, type NoForm (NoForm – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org).

  4. Locate the NoForm.ai plugin and click the Install Now button.

  5. Once installed, click Activate.

Step 2: Connect to your NoForm Account

  1. In your WordPress sidebar, click on the Plugins section and find NoForm.ai in the list.

  2. Click the Settings button.

  3. Paste your Bot ID (it's 'data-bot-id' attribute value in the Installation code or you can always find it in your browser in the NoForm application - it's in the URL after 'bot/', like this: https://app.noform.ai/bot/{bot_id}/assistants) to the empty textbox field and click 'Save' to apply changes.

Verification

  1. Open your website in a new browser window.

  2. Confirm that the Chat Widget appears on the website.

  3. Send a test message to ensure the AI Assistant responds based on your Training Center data.

💡 Tip: Use Incognito Mode to test the installation. This ensures you are seeing the most recent version of the widget without interference from browser cache.
