The primary goal of the NoForm AI Assistants feature is to adapt the AI's behavior based on the specific section of the website it is in, tailored to the typical business tasks of a particular industry.

Assistants can be specialized for sales or support roles, tailored to specific languages (especially if certain sections of the site are available only in that language), or focused on specific marketing campaigns.

1. How to get started using the AI Assistants feature?

For new accounts, just after entering your business website URL, you will be redirected to this modal to create your first default assistant. This must be done to continue.

You can select from the following templates:

  • Healthcare Assistant

  • Insurance Assistant

  • Pet Services Assistant

  • Real Estate Assistant

  • Roofing Assistant

  • Sales Assistant

  • Financial Services Assistant

  • Car Dealership Assistant

  • Banking Assistant

  • Ecommerce Assistant

Each Assistant has a unique set of instructions that fits most common use cases.

The name is generated automatically; you can choose to rename it as you wish.

Click the Continue button to proceed to the Setup step.

πŸ“If you have existing assistants, click the Create new assistant button to add a new one.

2. Set up your Assistant

Define your assistant's role, attitude styles (or personality tones) and knowledge in the Setup tab.

  1. Assistant Roles – Define the primary function of your assistant (e.g., Sales, Support, Navigation, Educator).

  2. Attitude Styles – Choose the tone that best matches your brand (Professional & Polished, Friendly & Approachable, Casual & Playful, Helpful & Supportive, Smart & Insightful, Inspiring & Motivational, Calm & Reassuring, Neutral & Minimal).

  3. Tailored Instructions – Pre-filled, editable text fields (Assistant's role, Attitude styles (or personality tones), Product Information, Pricing / Refunds, Enrollment / Purchase Process, Contact Real Person, Compare to Alternatives, Support / Troubleshooting, Language Setup) that guide how the AI responds according to the selected Assistant Template.

3. Qualify your Leads

Specify attributes to qualify the chat as a lead in the Lead qualification tabβ€”for example, an email or phone number.

  • Custom Attributes – Define which data points the assistant should capture in chats.

  • Required Attributes – Collect essentials like email and phone. When both are captured, the chat is automatically qualified as a lead. You can turn off the toggle for one of them to skip their collection, but it is required to have at least one enabled.

4. Control how your Assistant greets and engages with visitors

You can control how your assistant greets and engages with visitors in the Engagement Tab.

  • Message Box Placeholder – Customize the text shown in the chat input field.

  • Welcome Message – Set a personalized greeting for new sessions.

  • Conversation Starters – Provide clickable prompts to encourage interaction and engagement.

  • Contextual Quick Replies – Enable AI-suggested reply buttons to make chats smoother.

5. Add specific URLs where this assistant appears

You can choose where your AI Assistant appears on your website in the Visibility Tab.

  • Page Rules – Use flexible URL rules (contains, is precisely, ends with, starts with) to show or hide the assistant on specific pages.

  • Please ensure that you enable the assistant for the selected pages by applying the assistant to the scope of pages you defined using the rules. Once enabled, your custom assistant will appear on the pages (if the chat widget is installed, of course).

IMPORTANT: The default assistant's coverage can't be changed. It will respond to all pages except those assigned to another assistant.

When your Assistant is ready, click the Save assistant button.
